Every piece at Thistle & Felt is a celebration of craft. We partner with skilled makers who understand the language of materials, and who value patience, imperfection, and longevity over mass production. Natural fibers, earth-driven or non-toxic dyes, and minimal waste are central to our design ethos.

Our collections draw on subtle palettes: moss greens, muted clay, and soft linen reflecting the hues of natural landscapes of both the Mornington Peninsula where we live, and of Scotland where I am from.

Meet the Maker

Founded by Stephanie Jay on the Mornington Peninsula, Thistle & Felt grew from a love of natural materials, slow making, and creating a calm space for her children. Each design blends heritage craftsmanship with a modern sensibility - handmade from 100% wool felt and designed to be treasured for generations.
