If your mobile has become a little tangled, drooped over time, or been loved a little too much by curious little hands, this restringing service will carefully restore its original balance and beauty.
Each piece is rethreaded by hand on the Mornington Peninsula, using fresh cotton twine and gentle adjustments to ensure perfect spinning and symmetry.
How it works:

Purchase this service and you’ll receive shipping instructions by email.

Post your mobile to our studio (please include your name and order number).

We’ll restring and rebalance your mobile, then return it beautifully packaged and ready to hang again.
Turnaround time: approximately 2–3 weeks from receipt.

This mobile or wall hanging is a decorative nursery piece and not a toy.
Always hang securely out of reach of babies and children.
Never mount directly above a cot, crib, or sleeping space when baby is unsupervised or sleeping.
Do not allow children to pull, play with, or place elements in their mouths.
Regularly check that all strings, knots, and attachments remain secure.
Remove or reposition once your baby can sit, pull up, or stand unaided.

100% Pure Wool Felt – OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and compliant with UNE-EN 71-2 and UNE-EN 71-3 toy safety standards. This ensures the felt is independently tested for harmful substances and certified safe for use in children’s products.
Pure Wool Stuffing – Sustainably sourced, biodegradable and free from synthetic fillers.
Wooden Hoops & Beads – natural wood.These are craft-grade components, chosen for their strength, simplicity and natural finish.
Natural Threads & Twine – Cotton, linen and hemp fibres, selected for their durability and low-tox qualities.
Care & Maintenance
Handle your Thistle & Felt mobile with care.
Remove gently from packaging and hang securely using the provided loop or your chosen ceiling hook. Felt elements may shift during transit and can be repositioned but should never be untied, as this will affect the mobile’s balance.
Never wash your mobile or wall hanging. We suggest storing your mobile in a natural cotton zip bag and adding cedar balls as helps keep fibres fresh and protected.

Free standard shipping in Australia & New Zealand on every order over $100.
All items are made to order with a processing time of 5 - 10 days before dispatch. Every order is carefully packed and sent with tracking so it arrives safely to you.
If you change your mind, we’re happy to accept returns within 14 days for a full refund (excluding delivery charges), provided items are unused, in their original packaging and in resalable condition. Please contact us by email before sending your return so we can confirm the details and please refer to our Return policy for more information.
Please note that customised or personalised pieces are final sale and cannot be returned.
International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or fees charged by their country on arrival.
