At Thistle & Felt, each mobile is created as a quiet ritual of care, handmade with natural materials, rooted in old-world tradition and reimagined for today’s nursery. We believe that what surrounds our little ones should be calm, meaningful and made to last.

Woodland Bunny draws on ancient nature-based traditions, where animals were seen not only as part of the wild but also as symbols of renewal and quiet companionship. In folklore, rabbits often represent gentleness and new beginnings.

This mobile features five hand-stitched felt bunnies nestled among wool felt balls in earthy tones and soft blues, Australian native blooms, acorns and soft white clouds. The figures are suspended from a lightweight bamboo hoop with natural cotton or hemp twine, bringing warm woodland character to any nursery space.

Each element is handcrafted from 100% wool felt and pure wool stuffing. The felt that we use complies with recognised international safety standards, including OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, UNE-EN 71-2 and UNE-EN 71-3.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textiles. The felt that we use has been tested for chemicals known to be harmful to health, such as lead, and conforms to the highest safety class (class 1). No nasties are used to create and dye this felt.

Each piece is handmade to order, with subtle colour and detail variations that make every mobile truly unique. These small differences are part of their charm and character.
